“We liked the color combinations, density of material, the warranty, and the ability to drop bumpers on it.”
The Chiles Center at the University of Portland features a weight room exclusively for its athletes. The facility underwent renovations and installed 1,200 square-feet of Everlast UltraTile to provide a proper weight lifting foundation.
It looks great, and it’s safe for the students to train on, said Bradford Scott, Director of Athletic Performance at the University of Portland.
Everlast UltraTiles are environmentally friendly and the esthetics can be customized with different colors and patterns. But what makes the flooring so unique is how it’s made.
Manufactured by ECORE, all Everlast UltraTiles contain Nike Grind, a premium-grade raw material consisting of ground down Nike surplus manufacturing materials and recycled athletic shoes. Nike Grind is then blended with premium recycled tire rubber to produce a high-quality, rubber flooring with superior shock absorption and noise cancelation. It can withstand daily abuse without any signs of wear and tear—making it a must-have in the newly renovated Chiles Center.
